What is Honda?
Already well-known for its motorcycles, Honda produced their first car in 1962 - the soft top S500 which debuted at the Tokyo Motor Show.
Honda is still a powerhouse in the motorcycle industry, holding the title of world’s largest motorcycle manufacturer since 1959, but the company now has a reputation for making reliable cars too.
The Honda Civic has been one of the company’s most popular models since its inception back in 1973, but the cheapest model they offer in the UK is the Honda Jazz.
For nine years straight, What Car? have named Honda the most reliable used-car manufacturer, and owners of Honda cars gave them an extremely rare 100% rating in 2017.

How to Get Cheaper Honda Insurance
One easy way to save money on your car insurance policy is by considering where you park your car overnight. Many insurance providers take into account the location in which you park your car at night, as they believe that it is a big factor in how likely your vehicle is to be stolen or damaged.
In an ideal world, you’d want to park your car on the driveway of your home. You’d think that parking inside your garage would make your car more secure, thus reducing your premium, but in some instances insurers actually view this as being a riskier for your car. This is because you’re more likely to damage your vehicle when driving in or out of your garage. So parking in your garage isn’t a foolproof way of reducing your insurance premium.
If you can’t park on your own property, then insurers will take into account the crime rate around where you live, and the street on which you park your car, when calculating the cost of your insurance premium. There’s not much you can do about the crime rate in your area, but if you can, always park under overhead street lighting as this can deter thieves.
