Mobile Application Rewards Policy (ME Expert Ltd) operates a reward scheme for users of our mobile app that successfully switch energy provider, broadband provider or buy a car or home insurance policy. Rewards consist of Amazon vouchers for a value of £20, one per transaction, and will only be issued for purchases where the comparison journey is initiated via the app.

Who is eligible for rewards?

All users of MoneyExpert’s mobile app who complete a switch or purchase one of the following products (‘Qualifying products’):

Gas and electricity Broadband Car insurance Home insurance

A switch or policy purchase is considered completed on the expiry of the 14 days cooling off period and provided that the customer has not withdrawn from the contract before this time.

Customers who purchase any of the following Non-Qualifying Products through the Money Expert app will NOT be eligible for any rewards.

The following are non-qualifying products:

Including but not limited to business energy, Van, Taxi, Caravan and Motorhome Insurance and other vehicle insurance, Pet insurance, Mortgages, Loans, Savings accounts, Current accounts, Credit cards, Debt consolidation services, Health insurance and Income protection insurance.

How do rewards work?

When you start a quote from the app, we will track your journey through to completion and mark your purchase as eligible in the app immediately. For products – such as car and home insurance - where the transaction takes place on a 3rd party site, the reward eligibility will be subject to us receiving confirmation of the sale from our partners. In some cases, this may take up to 8 weeks, after which the voucher will either become redeemable or will be revoked in cases where the policy was cancelled, for example if you cancelled the policy during the cooling off period.

Where can I see my rewards?

You are able to view your rewards by visiting your Profile section in the app and clicking on ‘Rewards’. The status of rewards you may be eligible for will appear here. This will change to redeemable once the transaction has been confirmed and the cooling off period has passed.

How can I redeem a voucher?

Once your voucher is ready to be redeemed, it will show as ‘Active’ on the App Rewards page. Clicking on ‘Redeem’ will generate an email to your registered email address containing the voucher code. If you have any problems with voucher redemption please contact us on [email protected]

ME Expert Ltd accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities or disappointment incurred or suffered by you or anybody else in connection with this reward program.

ME Expert Ltd shall not be liable for any failure to comply with our obligations where the failure is caused by something beyond our reasonable control.

All Rewards are subject to availability and ME Expert Ltd reserve the right to substitute or remove any Rewards at any time. Any amendment shall be published and communicated promptly via the app. There are no cash alternatives.

We reserve the right to change, add or remove any product currently defined as a Qualifying Product. Any amendments to the current definition of Qualifying Product will be published as an amend to this Reward Policy and will be communicated in the App.

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any point without notice.

We rely on the accuracy of the information provided by the third party providers of your Qualifying Purchase to verify your entitlement to Rewards. We accept no responsibility for any delay, failure, or error by a third party provider in notifying us that a Qualifying Purchase has taken place.
