Sainsbury’s Bank has launched the longest running zero per cent credit card for purchases in the UK, with no interest to pay for 12 months.
Card users will have to hurry to claim the offer however, as it is only available until May 31st.
The card has a balance transfer rate of 5.94 per cent for a period of six months, but is also fee-free.
“We are keen to reward the Sainsbury’s shopper with one of the most attractive cards in the marketplace,” claimed Donald Macleod, credit cards manager at Sainsbury’s.
“We remain committed to offering some of the most competitive credit cards available,” he added. “Many providers have cut back on their interest free offers but our special offer card provides 12 months at zero per cent, the longest in the market.”
At the end of the zero per cent term the card will revert to 15.9 per cent APR. Customers will also be able to get the best rate on Nectar points, said Sainsbury’s.
Sainsbury’s bank is also continuing to offer its ten month zero per cent Visa, with 2.9 per cent payable on balance transfer transactions in the first six months.
