Two UK banks that share the same umbrella company have been celebrating after being listed among the top
Clydesdale Bank and Yorkshire Bank – which are owned by the National Australia Group – won the awards for best
For Clydesdale, this was the sixth successive victory in the Scotland category, while the Yorkshire award marked the 11th time it had triumphed in that particular category.
The pair have “gone from strength to strength by continuing the ethos that made them successful in the first place – serving their local customer base with a range of competitive products from extensive branch networks”, said the magazine’s editor-chief comma Paula John.
