Goldfish has launched a new card, promising to double the number of points it awards to users for the first three months.
The Goldfish points, earned on all purchases, will be equivalent to two for every pound spent. Once 1,500 points have accumulated, users will receive a £10 voucher.
They are redeemable with 18 leading retail partners including Boots, Argos, John Lewis, WHSmiths and Marks and Spencer plc.
The announcement reverses a general market trend toward scrapping card loyalty schemes and follows Morgan Stanley’s recent purchase of Goldfish.
“When Morgan Stanley acquired Goldfish we set out to reignite interest in the brand and the launch of this credit card offer is the first step,” said Charlotte Hogg of Morgan Stanley.
“The new offer positions Goldfish as a leading reward scheme for those seeking competitive rates partnered with a high-redemption reward offer that can be tangibly exchanged in a number of top retailers.”
As well as the loyalty scheme Goldfish has promised a competitive best rate on all purchases and balance transfers.
