Experts give home improvement show top marks

Experts in home improvement have praised the National Home Improvement Show, which was held in London from October 2nd to 4th.

The event at Earl’s Court included exhibitors like Self Build Zone, Rooftec, the Energy Savings Trust and My Architect.

It was praised by presenter of Channel 4’s The Home Show George Clarke as a good way of showing how to stretch the budget in order to make good home improvements as an alternative to moving home.

He said the show was about “making a home that you really might not have fallen in love with into a home that really works for you”.

Those looking for a loan may find this is the best way to supply the money for such an undertaking.

Householders who need to undertake some maintenance work should not put it off on cost grounds, managing director at property repairs firm Aspect Maintenance William Davies advised last month.

He said that damage from problems such a leaky pipes could be costlier to fix the longer people waited to do something about the issue.
