  • This offer is provided by MoneyExpert Limited registered in England No. 4765843. Registered Office: MoneyExpert, Unit 6, The Parks, Lodge Lane, Newton-le-Wilows, WA12 0JQ.
  • This offer is only available to residents of Great Britain. Residents of the Channel Islands or Northern Ireland are not eligible.
  • This offer is restricted to one refund per household and is only relates to the Car Insurance comparison service available on www.moneyexpert.com.
  • The Cash Back Application Form cannot be completed until 14 days after the policy start date
  • Cash Back Applications made after 30 days from the policy start date will not be accepted
  • Payment will be made by BACS transfer to the account details provided on the Cash Back Application Form.
  • Payment can only be made to the person identified on the certificate of insurance as being the policyholder
  • Payment will be made within 60 days from the day a fully completed Cash Back Application has been made
  • This offer is in no way connected to any payment terms or credit agreement you may enter into with the insurance provider
  • The full Premium before deduction of the Cash Back will be payable to your chosen provider
  • Cash Back Applications that do not pass our validation process due to incorrect, incomplete or missing information will not be eligible
  • MoneyExpert reserves the right to withdraw this offer or alter these terms and conditions or the amount of Cash Back available at any time without providing notice
  • In the event of the offer being withdrawn payments will only be honoured for applications completed prior to removal of the offer.

These are the terms and conditions of the Best Price Guarantee offered by MoneyExpert.com to you in relation to car insurance:

Our promise to you:

  • The website www.moneyexpert.com (the "Website") is owned and managed by MoneyExpert Limited ("MoneyExpert"). MoneyExpert guarantees to match any better policy rate if, within 5 days of completing a car insurance policy online, you find an "identical offer" not through the Website, which is lower in price than the price advertised on the Website including the cash back at the time the "identical offer" is found (the "Guarantee").
  • An "identical offer" means an offer which, aside from price, is identical in all respects, such that it can be accessed and booked by the public for the same car insurance policy, voluntary excess, no claims bonus and other key elements of the product plus applicable taxes, same policy dates, and the same terms of payment and cancellation.

    • When is the Guarantee valid?

  • Unless otherwise stated in these terms and conditions or at the time of taking up the car insurance policy, the Guarantee is valid provided that:

    (i) The "identical offer" is at least £1 cheaper than the price you paid;

    (ii) You have a confirmed policy reference which was made through the website www.moneyexpert.com;

    (iii) You do not cancel your policy at any time;

    (iv) Your policy is based on a publicly available rate; the Guarantee is not valid for group, corporate, member or any other discounted or negotiated rates including renewal invitations;

    (v) The "identical offer" is from an insurer or broker which appears on the MoneyExpert Car Insurance Comparison service panel.

    (vi) The "identical offer" does not include a cash back offer greater than that offered on www.moneyexpert.com at the time your policy started

    • How to make a claim under the Guarantee

  • If you wish to make a claim under the Guarantee, you must do so in writing within 5 days of taking up an insurance policy. You should provide evidence to verify the cheaper rate to the satisfaction of the MoneyExpert including but not limited to a screen shot or link to the relevant website/quote form and/or an insurers telephone number and reference code.
  • MoneyExpert at its sole discretion will decide whether you have a valid claim under the Guarantee and will, as soon as possible, inform you whether your claim under the Guarantee is valid.
  • If your claim under the Guarantee MoneyExpert will credit your chosen bank account with the difference between the MoneyExpert policy less the Cash Back amount applicable at the time your policy started and the price of the "identical product".
  • For the avoidance of doubt, this agreement is between you and MoneyExpert. Therefore, in the event your claim is valid and you receive payment (including compensation) under the terms of the Guarantee from MoneyExpert, you will still pay to your chosen insurance provider selected in the comparison process the original policy price agreed.

    • Our liability to you

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, MoneyExpert shall not be liable to you for any injury, loss (including but not limited to personal property), damage, delay, expense, inconvenience or otherwise suffered as a consequence of anything, howsoever caused, in connection with the Guarantee.
  • To the extent that MoneyExpert is held liable, MoneyExpert's liability to you shall not exceed the difference in price between the two "identical online offers".

    • General

  • MoneyExpert is entitled to modify or withdraw the Guarantee from the marketplace at any time at its sole discretion. It is a limited offer. For the avoidance of doubt, the Guarantee is void where it is prohibited by law.
  • MoneyExpert reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any claim that is determined to be incomplete, inaccurate, or is otherwise determined to be fraudulent, disruptive, or deceptive in relation to the Guarantee process.
  • MoneyExpert will only honour one qualifying claim (the first qualifying claim submitted) per vehicle. Claims should be submitted in writing to carinsurance@moneyexpert.com
  • These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England to settle any dispute which may arise out of or in connection with the Guarantee and these terms and conditions.
